Job Description

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Manager

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a leading global manufacturer of security systems to recruit an HSE Manager.

This role offers the opportunity to drive HSE standards at a key manufacturing site in Cheltenham, becoming part of an organisation with a vast global footprint.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment and be NEBOSH General certified.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with UK legislation and the global strategy for health, safety, and environment
  • Drive improvements in quality, safety, health, and environment across the site
  • Audit health, safety, and environmental performance, accurately reporting and investigating incidents and near misses
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including contractors, regulators, and enforcement agencies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • NEBOSH General certification or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills with experience engaging colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to lead on new initiatives and improve Health, Safety, and Environment performance

Salary: Circa £45,000 - £50,000 plus benefits
