Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are delighted to be working with an industry leader in the Fitout industry, in the recruitment of an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis.
About the RoleThis contractor is seeking to strengthen their Commercial team to keep up with project demands. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial management of a range of high-end and diverse projects, collaborating closely with the Project Management team in a client-facing capacity.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing and submitting valuations
- Compiling variation quotations
- Procuring and managing sub-contractor accounts
- Collecting and overseeing subcontractor documentation
- Reviewing main contract documents and providing contractual advice to the project team
- Preparing Monthly CVR/Cost Reports and final accounts
- Implementing value engineering and risk management strategies
You are expected to be a self-directed professional, driven by goals and deadlines, with strong technical skills to assess design, contractual, and technical documents. You should be proficient at identifying both commercial risks and opportunities.
- A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- 5 years + experience in a similar role
- Proficient IT skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a critical mindset and technical expertise
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
An excellent salary and benefits package will be on offer for the successful candidate. Adhoc travel required - project dependent.
