**Job Description**
This role involves working with students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing individualized support and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized plans, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed.
**Responsibilities**
- Support students with SEMH needs in the classroom and during activities, using strategies such as positive reinforcement and behavioral management
- Collaborate with teachers to plan, deliver, and evaluate lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents through effective communication and empathy
- Offer emotional support and guidance to students as needed, promoting a safe and nurturing environment
- Work closely with other support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support
**Requirements**
- Experience working with students who have SEMH needs, with a focus on creating a supportive learning environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing collaboration and mutual respect
- Flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing situations, with a commitment to providing a responsive and inclusive service
- A passion for supporting students with SEMH needs, with a desire to make a positive impact on their lives
**Salary and Benefits**
- Salary: £95 - £110 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications
