Job Title: Skilled Electrician

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join our client's workshop team, based just outside Wellingborough. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for completing electrical maintenance on tunnelling and ventilation equipment, including ventilation fans, dust extraction units, and grouting equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform day-to-day maintenance works on a range of tunnelling ventilation equipment and other equipment related to the civil engineering sector
  • Conduct routine testing of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Assist with the planning of maintenance schedules across the workshop to ensure efficient use of resources
Requirements:
  • Strong technical background in electrical maintenance, ideally from an industrial, civil engineering, or manufacturing setting
  • ECS Gold Card - minimum (essential)
  • 2391 Test & Inspection qualification, or equivalent
  • Based within a commutable distance of Wellingborough/Rushden area
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
  • Monday to Friday, 7am - 5:30pm (paid lunch)
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x for anything over 8 hours in a day
  • 31 days holiday, including bank holidays
  • Life insurance paid at 4x salary
  • Pension, 5% company and 4% contribution
