Job Description

This senior-level role involves providing strategic counsel to government and public sector clients, shaping narratives and managing media relations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of governmental operations, political sensitivities, and public policy issues in the GCC region.

Responsibilities
  • Communication Strategy:
    • Develop comprehensive communication strategies tailored to client objectives and regional considerations.
  • Media Relations:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and international media outlets to position clients effectively in the public eye.
  • Crisis Communication Advisory:
    • Provide clients with expertise in managing communication during crises, ensuring accurate, timely, and transparent messaging.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Guide clients in fostering productive relationships with community leaders, business groups, other government entities, and the general public.
  • Content Strategy:
    • Oversee the creation of impactful written, visual, and multimedia content for client campaigns, ensuring alignment with messaging objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience in a senior communications advisory role, ideally within an agency or consultancy setting.
  • Deep understanding of governmental operations, political sensitivities, and public policy issues in the GCC region.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to tailor messaging to various audiences.
  • Strong network within media, public sector stakeholders, and related industries.
  • Expertise in crisis communication and reputation management for high-profile clients.
  • Proficiency with digital communication platforms and analytics tools.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams.
