**About Wellington College Prep**

We are a leading prep school in the UK, nestled in 32 acres of stunning countryside. Our school boasts state-of-the-art facilities and a proud history, alongside a progressive approach to education that encourages pupils to learn for life.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated School Matron to join our team on a full-time basis. As a School Matron, you will play a fundamental role in the pastoral care of our pupils and ensure the effective operation of our boarding house.

The successful candidate will have particular responsibility for the medical care of our boarders and will work closely with the House Parent and other residential staff to ensure the physical, social, academic, and emotional wellbeing of every pupil within the school.

Key responsibilities include:

• Pastoral care
• Medical care
• Management of the boarding house

The ideal candidate will possess a general secondary education, well-developed English language skills, and a First Aid qualification. A RGN/RN or RSCN/RN (Child) currently on the NMC register is desirable but not essential.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as free lunch whilst on duty, subsidised membership to the Wellington Health & Fitness Club, and enhanced maternity/paternity scheme.
