SEN Teaching Assistant Role in Tower Hamlets

We are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our support staff at a reputable Secondary school in Tower Hamlets. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs.

Job Summary
  • Full-time term-time only SEN Teaching Assistant role
  • Commencing in September until the end of the academic year
  • Role paying £480-£550 per week, paid weekly on a PAYE basis
Requirements
  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology-related degree from a top 20 UK university
  • Previous experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable
Responsibilities
  • Supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a calm and nurturing environment

  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to develop effective support plans
