About the Role

Kennedys is seeking a highly skilled Risk & Compliance Auditor to join our Risk & Compliance department. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert information, advice, and guidance to the Firm on professional responsibility, risk, and compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of the annual lawyer file audit program, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of internal audit processes, including monitoring and completion of corrective actions.
  • Discuss audit requirements and findings with fee earners, team leaders, and Partners throughout the business.
  • Assist in the delivery of an effective audit process relevant to the ISO 9001 Quality Management accreditation for all UK and overseas offices.
  • Participate in due diligence processes where it relates to internal or external audit activity.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience of legal file management.
  • Current or previous supervisory, peer review experience or completion of file audit would be ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven organizational skills with a proactive attitude.
  • Proven ability to deal with confidential matters with discretion.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
