Job Description

Risktec Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Technical Safety Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. As a Technical Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical safety support to senior colleagues and clients, including consequence modelling, technical safety studies, and project/client management.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of relevant technical safety studies experience, including use of modelling software, and a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent. Strong computer literacy, numeracy, and analytical skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consequence modelling using industry-standard software and techniques.
  • Technical Safety Studies using industry-standard software and techniques.
  • Prepare technical proposals and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project/client management as appropriate to experience.

Key Experience:
  • 3+ years of relevant technical safety studies experience.
  • Use of modelling software.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent.
  • Strong computer literacy, numeracy, and analytical skills.
