Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment, identifying faults, diagnosing, and repairing breakdowns, and performing preventative maintenance on all machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Identify and diagnose faults, and repair breakdowns on a range of machinery.
- Work closely with the production team to optimize production output and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work and ensure that all equipment is safe and compliant with relevant legislation and standards.
- Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to ensure that all equipment is serviced and repaired in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to diagnose and repair faults and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 electrical or mechanical or equivalent.
