Position Title: Senior Project Management Leader

Company: Leonardo

Reporting to the Programme Manager for Integrated Project Teams focused on Test Equipment, Support & Cooling.

Role Overview:

At Leonardo, we invite you to explore a remarkable opportunity in Project Management within the Praetorian Programmes Business Area. As a Senior Project Management Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing several Major Development and Production Programmes, which include significant customer contracts that extend over multiple years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of Development and Production programmes
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East
  • Ensuring alignment of project strategies with the overarching programme objectives
  • Monitoring and managing project budgets and financial performance
  • Serving as the primary contact for stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification
  • APM PMQ certification or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of financial management
  • Experience in Systems/Engineering is preferred for Development Roles

Essential Skills:

  • Proven ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams
  • In-depth technical knowledge of project management
  • Strong skills in customer and stakeholder relationship management
  • Proactive approach with a commitment to continuous improvement

Desirable Skills and Competencies:

  • Familiarity with Praetorian products and associated groups
  • Experience collaborating with BAES, European Partners, and UK MoD
  • Exceptional communication abilities
