About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Sanctuary Group. As a Care Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered to our residents, while also supporting the development of our care assistants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of care assistants to deliver exceptional care to our residents, in line with their individual care plans.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and support to care assistants to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture.
Requirements
  • Experience in care, with a strong understanding of care principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the service.
  • SVQ3 in Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Kind and compassionate approach, with a genuine interest in the well-being of older people.
