Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Wanted

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed designs and calculations using Hevacomp/Openbuildings (or similar software).
  • Carry out surveys, prepare reports, and specifications.
  • Work on multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Undertake surveys and condition reports, providing accurate and comprehensive information.
  • Prepare mechanical designs and tender documents, meeting client expectations.
  • Attend design, client, and site meetings, effectively communicating with stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor junior members of staff and CAD team, promoting knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Act as Contract administrator on mechanical lead projects, ensuring smooth project execution.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in mechanical engineering and building services.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services, with a solid understanding of industry standards and best practices.
