Science Technicians (Permanent, Full-Time, Term-Time Only)

Twenty 4 Seven is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious school for two full-time Science Technicians. These are permanent, term-time only roles, offering an actual salary of £20,861 - £21,696, based on 37 hours per week and 39 weeks per year plus 5 inset days.

Job Summary:

The Science Technicians will assist in the maintenance and preparation of the classrooms, apparatus, and materials for staff and students, with a view to supporting safe, effective, and efficient teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the Science Department, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation.
• Prepare and order materials, equipment, and resources for science lessons.
• Maintain and set up laboratory equipment and machines.
• Ensure the highest standards of health and safety in the laboratory environment.

Essential Requirements:

• A science qualification to at least A Level or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Science Technician or in a laboratory setting is desirable but not essential.
