Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst

Join Channel 4's Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team as a Senior Analyst and play a key role in shaping the company's financial future.
Role OverviewThe FP&A team is responsible for producing, reporting, and monitoring consolidated financial projections for Channel 4's businesses. As a Senior Analyst, you will work closely with the Head of Commercial Finance and Finance Business Partners to deliver high-quality financial analysis and insights that inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Support the preparation, review, and presentation of rolling monthly and quarterly reforecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans.
- Work closely with the Management Accounts team to understand monthly and YTD reports and how they fit into the FY revisions.
- Produce and support the production of analysis and comparative reports that explain performance and performance variances.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to deliver high-quality financial reporting and analysis to support business stakeholders.
- A qualified accountant or equivalent experience in a consolidating FP&A function.
- Experience of directly supporting operational business executives in formulating, monitoring, and managing their budgets.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial information systems, such as Oracle and/or Workday.
