About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team at ThriveSW Limited, a family-run construction company based in the Bristol area. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our clients by providing accurate cost estimates for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze projects, specifications, and site visits to assess works and prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Prepare customer quotations by calculating costs for materials, labor, and services.
  • Review and adjust estimates based on project scope changes.
  • Respond to technical queries raised by customers and suppliers.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve the best value for money and organize lead times.
  • Interpret customer drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with team members, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Track expenditure on live projects and report cost updates to the management team.
Requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially when working with costs and numbers.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and ability to pick up internal works management systems.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative but in a team environment with colleagues.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
