Low Carbon Consultant Role

We are seeking a passionate Low Carbon Consultant with expertise in IESVE software to join our dynamic consultancy. The successful candidate will contribute to reducing carbon emissions in the built environment.

About the Position

The Low Carbon Consultant will lead sustainability assessments, collaborate with design teams to implement sustainable solutions, and liaise with clients to ensure effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead sustainability assessments and develop energy strategies that meet regulatory and client requirements.
  2. Collaborate with design teams to implement sustainable solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure effective project delivery.
  4. Provide expert guidance on Building Regulations Part L and Part O compliance.
  5. Support energy assessments and calculations for planning applications and building certifications.

About You:

  • Detailed working knowledge of Building Regulations Part L.
  • Extensive experience in IESVE software.
  • Familiarity with Part O regulations concerning overheating and SBEM.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and provide clear solutions.
  • Able to commute into Bristol 2 days a week.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
