We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to lead our veterinary nursing team at GLG Vets in Roehampton. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional veterinary care and enjoy working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-quality veterinary care and treatment to a variety of animals, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and well-being.
  • Perform routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care as required, utilizing your expertise and experience to make informed decisions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for each patient, ensuring seamless communication with the veterinary team and owners.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.
  • Ensure the clinic runs efficiently and effectively during your shifts, prioritizing patient care and team performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent), with a strong foundation in veterinary nursing principles and practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, owners, and animals.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the clinic.
  • Experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, with a focus on empathy, compassion, and understanding.

Shift Details: 40-hour week with a mix of early and late shifts, 1:6 weekends with time back in lieu. (Full Time)

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year
