Job Description

Gade Surgery is a primary care centre serving the communities of Rickmansworth and Chorleywood in Hertfordshire. We are seeking an Administrative Support Worker to join our team on a part-time basis (15-20 hours per week) to assist with administrative tasks and provide front-line support to patients.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Manage patient records and health information, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation
  2. Process prescriptions and other medical documents efficiently and accurately
  3. Handle incoming calls, emails and correspondence, responding promptly and professionally

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly organised and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic patient record systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
