Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Underley Gardens School. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our pupils achieve their full potential by implementing holistic, therapeutic approaches to support their daily lives.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing tailored interventions to meet individual needs
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support
  • Providing training and information to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy and registration with the HCPC
  • Substantial experience working with children and young people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work sensitively with individuals and resolve conflict effectively
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to the setting
