Job OverviewThe Recruitment Co is seeking an experienced Toolroom Technician to join their team in Newport.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperating power tools, including drills and chainsaws, and fabricating wood as required.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position working 39 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of £13.15, rising from £12.46.
Main Job Roles and Responsibilities- Fabricate wood according to project requirements.
- Operate drills and other power tools efficiently and safely.
- Use chainsaws to cut materials as needed.
- Perform general maintenance tasks on power equipment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals.
This role is based in Newport, with regular working hours of 7:30am - 3:30pm.
A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a strong focus on quality and safety.
