Main Responsibilities

As a Phase Leader and Core Subject Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a core subject area within the school, with a focus on improving student outcomes and achievement. You will work closely with teachers, support staff, and other leaders to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a core subject area, including curriculum development, teaching, and assessment.
  • Work with teachers and support staff to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to develop and implement whole-school initiatives and policies.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and assessment framework.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Outstanding teaching and leadership skills, with a proven track record of improving student outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, support staff, and other leaders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • A deep understanding of curriculum development and assessment, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to learn and grow as a leader.
