Diversity and Inclusion Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Diversity and Inclusion Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing equality, diversity, and inclusion across the university, working closely with our Head of Social Inclusion to deliver our 10-year Social Inclusion Strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering diversity and inclusion programmes, with experience of managing major initiatives and embedding behaviours associated with inclusion into complex organisations. They will also have excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence a variety of stakeholders, including students, academic and professional services colleagues.
The successful candidate will have a good degree (2:2 and above) or equivalent qualification, and considerable experience in an EDI role. They will also have demonstrable knowledge and understanding of people issues, including HR policy, recruitment, and talent management, as well as experience working with marketing and communications teams to raise awareness of social inclusion issues.
