About the Role

We are seeking a highly specialised occupational therapist to join our team at Fairlie Healthcare Group, where you will work with residents who have complex needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives.

Job Summary:

This role involves providing highly specialised occupational therapy assessment and intervention for residents with complex needs. You will be responsible for a clinical caseload and ensure that residents receive appropriate treatment to a high professional standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • To prepare and deliver resident-centred interventions based on sound knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options.
  • To undertake highly specialist assessments of neurological occupational therapy, including cognitive assessments.
  • To communicate effectively with residents and caregivers to maximise rehabilitation potential.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate effective communication with residents and caregivers.

You will also need to be able to work autonomously and provide expert advice, guidance and information to professionals, carers and relatives.
