Job Title: Academic Psychologist

About the Role:
Ribbons & Reeves is excited to be working with a forward-thinking, high-achieving Secondary School and Sixth Form based in Barking who are recruiting for a permanent Academic Psychologist position in September 2024.

The school offers industry-leading training and CPD opportunities, allowing for rapid career development within a reputable Trust. As an Academic Psychologist, you will be responsible for preparing and teaching engaging Psychology lessons for pupils up to KS4, and potentially KS5. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the development of the Psychology department's active learning approaches.

Ambition to progress within the school and commitment to the student's enjoyment and development in Psychology are key requirements for this role.

About You:
To succeed as an Academic Psychologist at this 'Good' School, you should hold QTS/PGCE and have obtained a Psychology degree from a Top UK University. Confidence in your teaching abilities, passion for pupil learning and welfare, and enthusiasm for extra-curricular activities are essential qualities for this position.
