Job Title: Barback

We are looking for a self-driven and enthusiastic individual to support our bartenders and floor team in a fast-paced environment. As a Barback, you will work closely with the kitchen and front of house team to deliver exceptional standards of service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of drinks and cocktails
  • Support the delivery of service during peak hours
  • Provide assistance to all service staff, including bartenders and floor team members
  • Understand and use our technology to enhance the customer experience
  • Engage with our products and offerings, providing expert recommendations to customers
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area
  • Ensure that the bar is stocked throughout service
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all stock areas
  • Preparation and break down of the bar area
  • Acceptance and recording of deliveries
  • Maintain Health & Safety expectations
  • Complete the curriculum of the Clayers Academy
  • Be a brand champion, maintaining expectations and delivery at all times
Requirements:
  • Some hospitality experience is preferred, but not essential
  • Demonstrate an interest and drive for the hospitality industry
  • Experience in high-volume bars is preferred, but not essential
  • Be passionate about hospitality and creating amazing experiences
  • Have a keen eye for detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to build lasting relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Honest with strong moral principles
  • Take initiative, solve problems calmly, and work well under pressure
