Responsibilities

Head Waiter duties and responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service experience for restaurant patrons, ensuring they feel valued and welcome.

• Ensure food quality and adhere to timing standards for products and services.

• Present menu, answer questions, and make menu recommendations to enhance the dining experience.

• Serve customers in an accommodating manner, with a focus on providing responsible service of alcoholic beverages.

• Maintain table cleanliness, bus tables, and remove dirty plates to create a clean and inviting atmosphere.

• Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe, with a focus on waste reduction and cost control.

Requirements and skills

  • Previous experience as a waiter or waitress.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to multitask.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with kitchen staff.
  • Active listening and problem-solving skills.
