Salary and Benefits

Job Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating current production activities and making recommendations for improvements. You will design and conduct research programs to evaluate manufacturing processes, seek quotes for component parts and services, and improve manufacturing efficiency by analysing workflow and equipment layout.

You will be responsible for producing factory layouts using AutoCAD or similar software, maintaining work centres and cost centres, and analysing factory output to improve operator efficiencies. You will identify factory bottlenecks and increase throughput, provide training and guidance to team members, and develop best practices to improve production capacity and quality.

You will troubleshoot production concerns and facilitate cross-functional teams to lead and implement improvements required by determining root cause, developing solutions, and leading implementation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a manufacturing/production/industrial engineering role. You must have CAD skills and experience of Standardised Working, as well as an understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles (desirable).

Candidates should also possess commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
