About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and management of test/automation architectures, focusing on API and end-to-end (E2E) testing frameworks.
Oversee non-functional testing efforts, particularly performance testing, to ensure optimal gaming experiences.
Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual processes, streamlining efficiency in the gaming platform.
Administering test environments and overseeing documentation and reporting for gaming features.
Mentor team members on QA best practices, with a strong emphasis on automation and strategic thinking within the gaming context.
Champion quality assurance processes within the broader gaming development team, ensuring alignment with production data and risk-based testing priorities.

Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior SDET, ideally within the gaming industry or a similar fast-paced tech environment.
Strong experience in server-side API testing, integration testing, and a solid understanding of REST APIs, particularly for gaming platforms.
Advanced SQL query writing skills for data-heavy gaming applications.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
Proficiency in PHP, TypeScript, or JavaScript programming.
Experience with tools like Postman, LambdaTest, and K6 for various testing activities within the gaming environment.
Ability to troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and implement fixes for gaming-related features.
Experience in cross-browser functional and integration testing, as well as regression, performance, and load testing for gaming applications.
Strong skills in documenting and managing risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
Strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building abilities.
