At Millar Associates, we're seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst, Interest Rates to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering tactical Sales and Trading tools to mitigate risk and facilitate the transition to our strategic real-time pricing & risk system. Key responsibilities include:

  • Tactical tool development: Collaborate with the Front Office to design and implement sales and trading tools that reduce risk and improve performance.
  • Price engine design: Work with the Pricing team to develop and maintain price engines, including analytics for price discovery, market profiling, and client analysis.
  • User relationships: Build strong relationships with Front Office users, Quant Researchers, and other teams across eRates Trading & technology.
  • Reporting tools: Develop reporting tools to quantify eTrading performance, revenue, risk, and client service metrics.
  • RAD toolset maintenance: Ensure the RAD toolset is maintained and enhanced to meet business requirements.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Software development skills: Strong experience in C#, Java, or C++ programming languages.
  • Interest rates knowledge: In-depth understanding of flow Rates (G10, EM), OIS, Swap pricing, Bond pricing, FWDs/Cross currency.
  • System experience: Extensive working knowledge of large-scale real-time distributed systems and eTrading.
  • Excel skills: Ability to create add-ins/automation using languages other than VBA.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
