Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Burscough Manor Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and hygiene support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Assist residents with eating and drinking, and encourage them to participate in daily activities.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being.
  • Support residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life, focused on their individual hobbies, preferences, and abilities.
  • Maintain high standards within the care home environment, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming space for residents and staff.
  • Work flexibly as part of a team to ensure residents' needs are met, including working night shifts and weekends.
