Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Custody Officer to join our team in Prisoner Escort Custody Services (PECS). This challenging role requires a unique blend of skills and qualities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Eskorting defendants to and from courtrooms, cells, and other areas within the court
  • Monitoring and supervising detainees
  • Maintaining discretion and confidentiality
  • Ensuring detainees have access to food and drink
  • Monitoring their mental and physical health
  • Ensuring the safety and security of the court environment

The ideal candidate will be reasonably fit, have good written and verbal communication skills, and hold a current valid driver's license.
