**Job Title: Graduate/Assistant Building Services Engineer**


About the Role:


We are seeking a talented Graduate/Assistant Building Services Engineer to join our team at Heatly. This role will play a crucial part in the development of our market-leading heat pump solutions, focusing on the designing, studying, and analysing of mechanical systems and component layouts.


**Key Responsibilities:**



  • Designing and developing accurate schematics and layouts based on manufacturer's data
  • Conducting side-by-side testing of the Heatly platform to ensure accuracy in mechanical designs
  • Collaborating with the Head of Technical to develop and implement optimised solutions for complex scenarios
  • Ensuring manufacturers' data sets are accurate and up-to-date
  • Participating in software team development sessions to identify technical and workflow improvements
  • Working closely with Senior Technical Support Specialists and other team members to learn about company products and services and resolving customer issues efficiently
  • Staying updated on new product features and updates to provide accurate and current support
  • Sharing insights on recurring technical issues and feedback from customers with product development teams
  • Identifying common issues and suggesting improvements to support processes and tools
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of internal knowledge bases and support documentation

**Requirements:**



  • Bachelor's degree in Building Services Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering
  • A-Level Maths or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, software applications, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • A keen interest in solving technical problems and a proactive approach to learning
  • Ability to work well within a team and seek guidance when needed
