Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team and deputise in the absence of the Nursery Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure that KiddyKare provides the highest standards of care and education, meeting the needs of every child in our nursery.
  • Promote the health, growth, and development of every child, fostering a nurturing environment that encourages learning and exploration.
  • Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, implementing best practices in childcare and education.
  • Oversee planning activities and assessments, staying up-to-date with childcare legislation and implementing updates as necessary.
  • Know and implement safeguarding policies and procedures, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our children.
  • Maintain excellent communication with parents, carers, and external professionals, building strong relationships and ensuring a collaborative approach to childcare.
  • Help identify new opportunities to grow sales and achieve revenue targets, contributing to the success of KiddyKare.

Requirements

  • Qualified with either the NNEB, an NVQ Level 3/4, BTEC, BA Hons, or equivalent.
  • Early Years Practitioner Status and Paediatric First Aid certification.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
