Job Title: CNC Machine Inspector

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Inspector to join our team at Heathcote Recruitment Ltd. As a CNC Machine Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting health and safety checks on CNC machines at various engineering companies in the Cambridge area.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct health and safety checks on CNC machines
  2. Check machine guarding, door interlocks, and emergency stops
  3. Inspect axis drive belts, couplings, and motor fans
  4. Check axis ballscrews, spindle rotation, and belt tension
  5. Inspect turret brake discs and pads, main drive belts, and hydraulic oil condition
  6. Check for pneumatic leaks, battery condition, and rotary switch functionality

Requirements:

Essential skills and experience include a background in CNC machining, experience with machine maintenance, and a strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
