About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Kitchen Steward to join our back of house team at the Celtic Manor Resort. As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth kitchen operations, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and supporting our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain the kitchen, utensils, kitchen appliances, floors, walls, and all surfaces
- Remove and clean rubbish bins
- Assist with kitchen operations, including food preparation and service
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a high level of service and quality
- Perform other duties as required to support the kitchen team
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting
- Excellent cleaning and maintenance skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
