Job Title: Senior Corporate Tax Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Tax Specialist to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a Senior Corporate Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for producing Corporation tax computations and returns from a set of Company accounts, dealing with compliance for corporate groups, and managing group relief claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce Corporation tax computations and returns from a set of Company accounts
  • Deal with compliance for corporate groups and manage group relief claims
  • Handle R & D claims within the computations and returns
  • Deal with Overdrawn Directors Loan accounts
  • Communicate with clients on Corporation tax matters
  • File returns, computations, and attachments to HMRC
  • Research business tax matters independently and arrive at a conclusion that is up to scrutiny
  • Work in an office environment and interact with other staff members or work of a hybrid nature
  • Handle HMRC enquiries
  • Calculate Deferred tax positions
  • P11d compliance (not essential)
  • Knowledge of Associated companies

Requirements:

  • CTA qualification or actively studying (ATT or QBE candidates considered too)
  • Significant corporate tax compliance experience
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
