About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Rotational Occupational Therapist to join our Therapies team at The London Clinic, based at our main site in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality Occupational Therapy service to a range of acute inpatient services, including oncology, orthopaedics, neurosciences, general surgery, and intensive care.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide a high-quality Occupational Therapy service to patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation of treatment programs

* Manage your own caseload efficiently, prioritizing tasks to achieve timely and safe discharge of patients from Hospital

* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve patient goals and outcomes

* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation and measurement of own practice through the use of appropriate outcome measures, audit, patient and referrer surveys, and other evidence-based quality improvement initiatives

* Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and in-service training

Requirements

* Proven experience of working as a Band 5 Occupational Therapist within a broad range of medical and surgical clinical areas

* Band 6 experience in core areas is desirable

* Previous experience of quality issues and audit

* In-depth knowledge of a variety of rehabilitation needs

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
