About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Support Worker. This role offers the opportunity to work with individuals with learning disabilities, supporting them to achieve their goals and aspirations.

As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our service users, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being. You will work closely with our team to develop personalized support plans, ensuring that each individual receives tailored support to meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily living support, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Assist with community integration, social activities, and recreational pursuits
  • Support individuals with goal setting, planning, and achieving their aspirations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience working with adults with learning disabilities (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Valid driving license and access to a car (preferred)
