About This Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Competition Lawyer to lead our compliance program and provide strategic advice on competition law matters. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with senior management to ensure effective implementation of competition policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising business and commercial teams on competition law issues associated with commercial strategies and contracts.
  • Managing the delivery of BA's global competition compliance program, including identifying risk areas and creating and delivering tailored training and awareness content.
  • Representing the Company before CMA, EU Commission, CAA, and other foreign regulators.
  • Liaising with external legal advisors and creating realistic budgets.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor/barrister with minimum 5 years PQE in private practice or in-house in UK and/or EU competition law (desired)
  • Broad experience of all aspects of competition law enforcement.
  • Aviation sector experience useful but not essential.

Salary: £130,000 - £190,000 per annum
