Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Support Professional to join a Special Educational School in the Warmley area.

This school caters for students aged 3-19 with profound mental learning disabilities, autism, sensory impairments, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated learning activities.
  • Support students in developing essential skills, such as communication, social interaction, and independence.
  • Assist with classroom management, including supporting positive behaviour and helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to further enhance your skills and knowledge in SEN support.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths.
  • Teaching Assistant qualification (minimum level 3) desired.
  • Experience of class supervision and assisting with lesson provision to achieve positive learning outcomes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in tandem with teaching staff.
