At Protocol Education, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Care Specialist to join our team in Ealing, London. As a Nursery Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the early years development and learning of young children.
**About the Role**
This is a wonderful opportunity for a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join a friendly and supportive nursery environment. As a Nursery Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of care and education for children aged 0-5, supporting their learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Child Development and Education: Provide a nurturing environment that promotes children's social, emotional, and physical development.
- Activity Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create a stimulating and safe environment where children can thrive.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Progress Monitoring and Record Keeping: Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining up-to-date records and contributing to planning and next steps.
- Health, Safety, and Well-being: Ensure children's health, safety, and well-being are always prioritised, following all nursery policies and procedures.
**Requirements**
- Qualifications and Experience: Hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent) and have previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Knowledge and Skills: Have strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Approach and Attitude: Possess a warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children and an understanding of safeguarding and health & safety regulations.
