Deputy Faculty Leader for English

United Learning is seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Faculty Leader to join our team at Nova Hreod Academy. As a key member of our English department, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Faculty Leader to develop and implement a comprehensive English curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
  • Lead a team of English teachers to ensure high-quality teaching and learning, and to drive student progress and achievement.
  • Contribute to the development of school policies and procedures related to English education.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers to enhance their subject knowledge and pedagogy.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated curriculum.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Deputy Faculty Leader or similar role in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and teaching skills, with a passion for English literature and language.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive student progress and achievement.
