Hardware Product Designer – Freelance

We are seeking a talented individual who excels as a designer, maker, engineer, and creative force in product design, research projects, and interactive experiential installations.

This role demands expertise in finding solutions for physical installations, product design, and innovative research endeavors.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and fabricate hardware components for a variety of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to life.
  • Conduct research and development activities to explore new technologies and materials.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of interactive installations and product demonstrations.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in CAD design software.
  • Experience with coding and programming languages relevant to hardware development.
  • Strong understanding of electronics and hardware development principles.
  • Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques and tools.
  • Background in research and development environments (academic or industry).
  • Experience delivering projects for installations and demonstrations.
