About Falmouth Fairfax

Falmouth Fairfax is a leading property company based in Chichester, Sussex, with a substantial commercial property portfolio of over 2 million sq ft in the southeast.

The Role

This is a hands-on and varied position covering all asset management responsibilities for a range of property asset types, including:

  • Monitoring leases and dealing with lease expiries, renewals, and rent reviews
  • Marketing available space, negotiating new lettings, and instructing and working with legal advisors
  • Regularly inspecting properties and developing and maintaining good landlord-tenant relationships
  • Responsibility for service charge budgets and authorizing works, including refurbishment programs, alongside the construction team to ensure properties are kept in good repair
  • Assisting with investment purchases and developments as and when they arise

The Ideal Candidate

Falmouth Fairfax is seeking a personable, smart, and self-motivated individual who is versatile and a team player. The ideal candidate will have:

  • MRICS qualification and 1-3 years post-qualification experience
  • Experience with leases and lease negotiations is useful
  • Experience with managed/flex offices would be useful but not essential
  • Prior asset management experience is not necessary

Work Arrangements

To ensure full market and asset coverage, the role will be hybrid in nature, with a mix of office-based work, property inspections, and working from home.

Remuneration

The basic salary range will be dependent on prior experience, but is likely to be in the range of £45,000 to £60,000. In addition to the basic salary, there is an electric vehicle car allowance, medical insurance, and an annual bonus.
