Senior Cybersecurity Consultant - Operational Technologies

55 Exec Search is partnering with a leading cybersecurity consulting firm to find a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant with expertise in Operational Technologies (OT).

As a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant, you will lead and deliver compelling engagements to a varied portfolio of clients across Energy & Power, Manufacturing, Aviation, Oil & Gas, Water, Utilities and more. Your engagements will be consulting-led, focused on understanding clients' business, building trust, and providing cyber security expertise across the spectrum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality consulting services focused on OT security, including ISO 27001 certification, IEC 62443 compliance, and secure network architecture.
  • Review and advise clients on security controls in their OT environment.
  • Design solutions that enhance the security of OT systems, from remote access to safeguarding legacy systems.
  • Crafting secure OT network architectures and robust perimeter defences.
  • Developing secure OT remote access solutions.
  • Provide feedback on risk and provide appropriate security advice.
  • Helping to architect secure Operational Technology (OT) environments.
  • Assist clients with understanding threats to their business and develop effective security solutions.

Requirements:

  • Current experience consulting / client-facing, ability to confidently engage with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Current experience focusing on Operational Technology and Industrial Control Systems.
  • Electrical design or Engineering background – It is imperative to have a deep technical understanding of OT / Industrial control systems and automation.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like ISA/IEC 62443, NCSC CAF, NIST SP 800-82, HSE OG86, and ISA TR84.
  • Experience working in industrial environments, including familiarity with change management procedures and FAT/SAT processes.
  • Awareness of the OT security threat landscape.
  • Experience developing solutions to address client security requirements.
  • Excellent understanding of SCADA and PLC technologies.
