Transport Planner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our reputable client in Rainham, Essex. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for planning the delivery and collection of hired equipment across the South East region.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in transport planning and logistics
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out general transport administration tasks
  • Assist with route planning and optimisation
  • Plan delivery of new hire orders to meet customer delivery times
  • Book vehicles into garages and ensure vehicle maintenance is up to date
  • Assist in planning deliveries and collections to ensure cost-effective use of transport fleet
  • Assist in planning driver activity to achieve productivity targets
