We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious individual to join our finance team as an Assistant Management Accountant. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your finance skills and contribute to the production of accurate monthly management accounts.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the timely production of accurate monthly management accounts, ensuring compliance with agreed deadlines.
- Conduct thorough checks and balances to ensure the accuracy and robustness of the accounts.
- Input manual journal entries, including accruals and prepayments, and prepare variance analysis against budget with supporting commentary.
- Support the production of reports for budget holders and maintain balance sheet reconciliations to the agreed timetable.
- Assist Management Accountants and Group Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis and support the annual audit process.
- Owning processes for rebates and royalties' accruals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Supporting Management Accountant on Retail, including ownership of salary accruals and producing turnover certificates for retail stores.
- Future scope to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
