Veterinary Medicine Specialist

At GLG Vets, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated veterinary surgeon to join our vibrant team in Crowborough, East Sussex. As part of our dynamic and collaborative environment, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while making a meaningful difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals, utilizing your expertise in veterinary medicine to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries, using your knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology to achieve optimal results.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients, working together as a cohesive unit to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness, leveraging your expertise to educate and empower them in the care of their pets.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress, using your organizational skills to maintain up-to-date and detailed records.
- Veterinary degree from a recognized institution, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK, ensuring you meet the necessary regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and animals.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
