Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented accountant with strong analytical skills to join our team in Aberdeen. As a Group Reporting and Management Accountant, you will support the Head of Finance in preparing monthly financial reports and management information.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Finance in preparing monthly financial reports and management information.
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations Team and the Financial Controller to provide finance support to a number of projects, coordinating the monthly forecasting of revenue, costs, and margin analysis, and providing meaningful commentary.
  • Provide insightful variance analysis to support operational and financial decision-making.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant with 2-5 years of experience.
  • Experienced in month-end reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, and group reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly advantageous.
  • The ideal applicant should demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively, as this role is critical in ensuring accurate reporting and supporting decision-making.
  • A proactive problem-solving approach with strong analytical skills.
  • Understanding of financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
